The partners of the ‘NaturBuild’ project meet to face the final stretch of this Erasmus+ initiative

From 26 to 27 June, the five partners of the ‘NaturBuild‘ project met at the headquarters of the University Institute for Research in Robotics and Information and Communication Technologies (IRTIC) of the University of Valencia to hold the fifth and final meeting of the Erasmus+ consortium, in which they discussed the development of the pilot training experience, among other results.

During two days, the project partners have finalised the details of the ‘NaturBuild’ course with a view to its launch in August 2024. Thus, prior to the launch of this training, the partners have agreed to carry out a pilot experience with workers who are medium technicians (i.e. who have a qualification level EQF 3 and 4) in order to evaluate and validate the online course for its launch to the public.

More about the course…

It is a free online course of 70 hours in which users will have the opportunity to (re)qualify in a booming activity with a high demand for employment, which contributes to mitigate pollution in cities. The platform, in addition to incorporating didactic games, offers students a flexible timetable and the possibility of evaluating their own progress.

The ‘NaturBuild’ course consists of 4 modules, structured as follows:

  • Module 1 on the benefits of green roofs.
  • Module 2 on the installation of green roofs.
  • Module 3 on the maintenance of green roofs.
  • Module 4 on the deconstruction of green roofs.
