NaturBuild, the Erasmus+ project kicks off
In 2022, the ‘NaturBuild’ project starts, co-funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme, which will develop training in green roofs for urban and building sustainability.
The Natur based solutions initiative is led by the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción (in Spain) which coordinates a consortium formed by five entities from: Spain, the Institute of Robotics and Information and Communication Technologies (IRTIC), attached to the University of Valencia; Greece, Pedmede Somateio; Italy, Scuola Edile Piacenza; and Portugal, Laboratorio Nacional de Energia e Geologia.
NaturBuild, was approved by the Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (Sepie) earlier this month under the 2021 call for proposals. The aim of the project is to create a comprehensive, module-based training course to train construction workers in the installation, maintenance and deconstruction of nature-based solutions.
Thus, contributing to the mitigation of the impact of buildings and cities through training and awareness raising.
