IRTIC presents our project ‘NaturBuild’ at the University of Valencia
The University Research Institute on Robotics and Information and Communications Technologies (IRTIC) of the University of Valencia presented our project ‘NaturBuild’ in a workshop organised at the University’s School of Engineering on 30 June.
The workshop began by introducing students to the possibilities offered by European-funded projects, especially those related to their future professional field. IRTIC presented the project, highlighting its objectives and the potential impact it could have on the construction sector by promoting urban sustainability.
With this presentation, the aim was to show how technology can be a valuable ally in architecture and how the professional opportunities that this type of project can offer for a future that promotes sustainability through the opportunities that new technologies can provide.
The results of the project were then presented, giving the students the opportunity to interact with the course platform, testing its functionalities and reviewing key contents that matched their personal interests.
Finally, an open discussion took place in which students shared their ideas, thoughts, suggestions and comments on the platform. In general, the feedback was very positive, although some attendees suggested that they would have preferred more 3D content, as they found it more intuitive and provided with a better understanding of the course content.
